Inspiration
Besides the constant competition we face amongst ourselves that encourages us to do better, work harder…my colleagues have also inspired me to think of work that never seriously crossed my mind. Homeless youth! It’s the saddest thing ever. So much potential…but kicked out of their homes just because they’re LGBT or whatever sad family situation they had.

An Education
In terms of non-legal education, today was very fruitful. It started off when a friend of mine texted me about the cryptic Tupac drawing I sent her during a round of the game Draw Something. When my friends at the table saw me giggle, I had to explain myself. No one had ever played it! So, I showed them another picture:

the law school effect
A: [compared to science grad student friends] They're done, but when I get home, I have, like, 3 hours of reading to do!
B: I know! My vision has definitely deteriorated.
A: I just got new glasses but still have to squint to see the board!
B: I'm thinking I need to start wearing glasses. Like, a full-time-wearing-glasses-person.
